American Idol Week One – The Rolling Stones Want Their Songs Back

Short Story: Overall a disaster. Just awful

American Idol 9 -The Top 8 Boys

A few boys bring their “A” game while others struggle.

AI O9: The Top Four Girls Leap Out of The Top Eight

I declare this the best show of the season so far as there were four rock-solid, star-caliber performances. It’s no surprise to my readers that Lilly Scott was one of those.

AI9 – The Top Twenty Performances – Lilly Scott is Still the Performer to Beat

After watching both nights of Idol’s top twenty in one night – a lot of American Idol. I strongly believe that Lilly Scott is the voice to beat. A few others really own the stage – especially Crystal Bowersox, but I don’t see her style of music winning, though she is amazing. Overall I’m afraid this top twenty is pretty weak. I still can’t imagine a very promising top ten, but it’s early.

American Idol Season Nine: Top 12 Men: Casey James gives Kara the Vapors

I’m looking forward to tonight’s show. I have some favorites amongst the guys: John Park, Casey James and Andrew Garcia, I hope they impress. Here’s how it went:
The Best
 Todrick Hall
 Song: Since You’ve Been Gone
First Impression: Todrick came to play and brought his “A” game, a totally effective and restyled version of Since You’ve Been Gone. [...]

AI9 Top 12 Girls Sing: Lilly Scott Charms As Favorites Falter

After it’s all over I feel a bit let down by most of the performers. Only Lilly Scott was truly original and did a positive memorable performance.

Hollywood Week – Day Four? Group Day

Well I’m just popping in to say it wasn’t a very memorable or intersting Group Day, lots of unnecessary drama, prima donnas, and people crumbling under the pressure. What made me sad was that none of the performances were really memorable, yep, I’ve already forgotten them. I’m ready for the real season to start.

American Idol Season Nine: Leftover Songbird Auditions

Hope Johnson – good voice, sweet, and her soul really shines through in her performance. Go Hope! FYI – Joe Jonas was the guest judge for her audition – he seemed a bit smitten.

American Idol 9: Denver Auditions Send 26 Through

Twenty-six from Denver go through. However we only saw seven of the twenty-six. I always wonder if that means the other 19 really weren’t good? Or are the keeping their aces in the hole?

American Idol 9: Dallas Auditions: NPH and the Invisible Jonas Brother

American Idol’s Dallas auditions were an improvement over LA. I do think that Todrick Hall and Christian Spears have what it takes to make it far.
